Dan's Story
Life

After high school I attended West Valley Collage in Saratoga where I met my wife, Kim Wilson in 1983 (Willow Glen High School Class of 1981). We were married in 1986.
In 1984, I formed Paradigm Metals, Inc. Paradigm Metals is a precision metal fabricator, producing precision sheet metal and machined products for the medical, semi-conductor, aerospace, telecommunications and high technology industries.
I started Paradigm in a 2K sq ft building in Campbell, CA and have relocated 4 times over the past 23 years. We now have two locations, Pflugerville, TX in a 50K sq. ft. facility on 9 acres with 80 employees and also a 17K sq. ft. warehouse facility in Taylor, Texas. We operate 7 days a week with 3 shifts. Kim and I relocated to the Austin, Texas area in 1995. Both Kim and my families have relocated to Round Rock (home of Dell Computers. (My parents moved in 1997, my brother Steve in 1995, Kim's twin sister, Kathi and family in 1999, Kim's older sister, Cheri & family in 2000 and Kim's parents also in 2000). We all live within a 3 mile radius of each other, it is a blessing! Kathi and her family moved back to California in 2002.)
God has blessed Kim and I with 3 children, Tyler (b. 06-...Expand for more
09-91) who is 16, Brent (b.03-05-94) who is 13 and my princess Shelby (b.09-11-96) who is 11. Tyler attends Stonypoint High School, Brent attends Ridgeview Middle School and Shelby attends Round Rock Christian Academy.
I don't have any hobbies other that my family and exercising. We stay active in sports and church. My wife and I both enjoy running and in the past ran many 10K races together. Kim has completed a Danskin Triathlon, and a pair of marathons.
We attend The Fellowship at Forest Creek near our home, which is a big part of our lives. Kim is very active with the children's program.
Over the past 14 years we have done a lot of traveling to places like China, Japan and most of the Caribbean Islands. Our trips now revolve around the family and we usually visit Cancun a couple of times a year.
We still own a home in California, so I do get a chance to visit San Jose periodically. (Wow! Lots of changes!)
I have a lot of great memories from those days at Camden High. Food fights, football, track, Cheerleaders, Jack in the Box and my high school girlfriend, Heidi Hyson. Unfortunately, I do not stay in touch with enough of my old friends, however I do trade emails with Dave Parsons and Antoinette Sota once in awhile.
