Allen's Story
My first connection with TCHS was 1953 when my folks decided against the public high school. I graduated in 1957 and went on to get an associate's degree from DeVry Tech. My working career began in data processing, which was actually IBM card processing, after graduating from DeVry. I have since worked in many different industries, all in data processing. I have served as Vice President and IS Director in 2 different Banks. I am retired now, but still working as a contract programmer for the bank from which I retired. t celebrated our 45th anniversary last Sunday. We are empty nesters now with 6 children and 5 grandchildren scattered around the country, from Minnesota in the north to South Beach Miami Florida in the south. We keep busy with a small business we have operated for the last 15 years each summer at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha Wisconsin. JoAnne sews renaissance style cloths and I design and build hardwood clocks and repair antique clocks. If I'm not in my workshop in the basement, I'm in the garage working on my 1987 Bertone X1/9 Italian sports car.
