Dan's Story
I was born and raised in Northern California. I attended and graduated from California State University,Chico, with BA in History and BA in Industrial Arts in 1974, and with a MS in Industrial Technology in 1981 and MA in History in 1982. I am a member of the Epsilon Pi Tau honor society of technology and engineering professionals since 1975. I have taken course work for advancing my education in all the major universities in NM, AZ and CO.

y adopted state, where I met my wife, raised a family of five children and continue to work to improve the educational opportunities for the students in my care.
I am an avid hiker, backpacker, camper and angler. I totally enjoy the outdoor life and have been volunteer leader in the Boy Scouts of America since 1987. In that role I have served on several youth and adult training staffs including ones with the local district, council and at Philmont Scout Ranch. I have been on staff for the last 5 national BSA Jamborees in the area of Backwoods Engineering (pioneering).
