Dana's Story
Life
I live in Blairsville,Ga.now and have four children. I am retired ,enjoying the mountains and my grandchildren.I'm divorced.I spend most of my time camping and fishing. Life here is kind of like a perment vacation.Come on up and see our mountains.
I am working again,part time for The Diabetes Foundation of Georgia.I like my job because I like helping people who are in need,I manage the office and help get supplies that people needbut can't afford.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Toy Holton, because we were good friends in school.
I share my home with a man,Johnny, who has been a good friend for about 8 years...Expand for more
. I find our relationship very comfortable because we like the same kind of men.
I still love to fish and live about 4 miles from Lake Notely.Have boat will float,lol.
My best friend would tell you I'm outgoing, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy and quite.
My uncle molested me when I was 10, and I married his brother when I was 25.I now work with children here that have gone thru the same experance, helping then to get on with thier lives. I talk at schools leting the childern to know that it was not thier faught ,that is the hardest thing for them to under stand.It is a very rewarding volenteer time for me.
