School I left Chula Vista in February 1978 and came to Virginia Beach to be with my family. On my 19 birthday I got my first and only job. I work as a contractor on Naval Air Station Norfolk. I started as a Material Handler working on Naval ships doing inventory, in 1982 I became a warehouse worker, supplying repair part for Naval helocopters, in 1985 I became a Supervisor, and in 2004 I became the Project Manager of the whole supply warehouse, I have spent 29 years working on the Naval Base, I enjoy my job most of the time, but it does have it's ups and downs. I married my first husband in 1981, during our brief marriage (2 years) I had my first child Jennifer on January 9, 1982, she was a very good baby and is now a very happy 25 year old who has graduated from college with honors and now works in a lawyers office as a paralegal.
