Danan's Story
Life
Well, it's been a fun 17 years. I was at the 10 year reunion and it was great to see a bunch of our old classmates. I graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 1994 with my EE degree and promptly started working in the software industry for Microsoft (ya, EE and software really mix :-), but hey they hired me). So, I've been making video games for Microsoft ever since. My most famous claim to fame was being on CBS morning news for all of about 5 seconds while I showed the judge from Night Court how to play Flight Sim. :-) I have put out about 15 games for Microsoft and now...Expand for more
am a Group Program Manager. Mom always said I wouldn't get anywhere having the high score on Space Invaders...I guess she was wrong. ;-)
While at MS I continued doing community theater in the MS theatre troupe and met my wife Tisha there. She's from Hawaii which makes it a real chore to HAVE to go back and visit her family. We have 4 great kids now. All boys, Hunter, Connor, Logan (after Wolverine of course!), and Kaden.
That's it for me, just hanging out in WA and making video games. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see more folks at the next reunion.
