Danette's Story
After graduating from Fremont, in 1970 I met Gerald Peppars (Jerry)one year later 1971 we married. We started our family three daughters and one son.
I worked for CNA Insurance Co. as a Brokerage Coordinator until 1984 at which time my third daughter Geralyn was born and we decided that I should become a housewife and raise our children.
During the 1970s & 1980s we built a race car a 1964 Chevelle which we both raced in the alleys off Florance & Central and at Lions Drag Strip. My best time was 10:80 130 mph in the quarter mile. Pretty good for the time.

ded trips to the Monterey Jazz Festival, Oakland, San Francisco, Lake Cachuma, Salton Sea and many other places.
I have always wanted my own bike. In 2004 Jerry finally agreed that
I should have my own motorcycle.I ride a 2004 Harley Davidson V-Rod, which is Harleys High Performance Bike. The thrill of the race car is back. Our rides with family and friends are the highlight of my weekends.
In 1999 I started my own business; Crumb Crushers Family Child Care which I still run to this day, along with my husband and three employees. I feel blessed to have fulfilled my dreams and live a life that I am extremely happy with.
