Daniel's Story

I graduated from Lincoln U. in 1973 ( sociology ) and then toured the states and europe with Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson for five years. Settled in D.C. in 1978 after recording and writing 10 albums with Gil. Took a job running the daycare program at a Montessori school in D.C. while playing bass in clubs at night. the music had picked up to seven nights a week so I quit the day job. I got certified as a tennis teaching pro in 1990. I've been teaching tennis and writing and playing music since then.
