Daniel's Story
I graduated from Douglas High School in 1974. In the fall of 1974 I started at Judson Baptist College in Portland, Oregon. On 13 June 1975 I entered the U. S. Air Force. I was assigned to Pease AFB in New Hampshire and then Nellis AFB in Nevada. I then went into the Air Force Reserves and was assigned to Portland IAP in Portland, Oregon. I was also assigned to McMinnville, Oregon and Butte, Montana as an Air Force recruiter. Other assignments include Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, Hill AFB, Utah and Keflavik, Iceland. I retired in 2001 and returned to Montana to get Bachelors and Masters degrees in Anthropology. In 2015 I moved back to New Mexico and in Jan of 2019 I made it full circle by moving to Roseburg, Oregon.
