Daniel's Story
Life
Currently: serving as a Colonel in US Central Command, MacDill AFB, Tampa Fl,
23 1/2 years in AF. Job:
Function: Comptroller (CFO)
I started my AF career in 1978 receiving my commissioning via Officer Training School in Texas.
1978-80assigned to Lowery AFB in Denver CO as the Acct Fin Officer.
1980-82 Scott AFB Il as the Acct Fin Officer
1982-86 Squadron Officer School, Maxwell Flight Cmdr/Instructor. Met my wonderful wife at First Baptist Church in Montgomery and was married there in 1985.
1986-90 - Pentagon, Staff Officer for Special "Black" (classified) programs
1990 - Attended Air Command and Staff School in Montgomery AFB
1991-93 - Insturctor at the Professional Military Comptroller School, Maxwell AFB, Montgomery AL
1993 - Pentagon Wash DC. Served as a Staff Officer for Comptroller Plans and Programs
1996-97 - Attend the National Defense University (Industrial College of Armed Forces) received Masters Degree in Nation...Expand for more

1997-1999 - Assigned to US Special Operations Commmand at MacDill AFB, Tampa. Managed Speical Classified Programs
1999- Current: Assigned as Comptroller (CFO) for US Central Command HQ MacDill AFB Tampa FL. USCENTCOM is reponsible for prosecuting the war in Afhganistan
Family: Wife: Amy, CPA, Graduate of U of Alabama
Son: Daniel Jr., 11 yrs old. Involved in Select Soccer. Therefore, we (really my blessed wife!) are on constantly on the run to practices and to games!
We are actively involved in seving our Lord Jesus Christ in a family of believers at a wonderful Church (Bell Shoals Baptist Church) where my son also attend the academy.
I will be transfered to Air Combat Command, Langley AFB, VA in summer 02. This may be my last move.
Future: After retiring from AF (not sure when!) I feel led to serve the Lord in some capacity either as a Church Business Director or perhaps in mission field (US or Oversees)
