Life has taught me so much in the last three years. So first, the bad...
Within the the last three years I've gone through a divorce (of which was a pretty decent event once we agreed on certain terms - still broke my heart -sheeesh!), my father (of whom I owe so much and am so grateful for) just recently passed away (that'll give you a perspective on things and priorities).
But, the good news is that I've purchased a home with my sister and have moved my nieces and my youngest boy in so, it's like a slumber party every night (it was what I needed - I love the sound of kids laughing and playing).
I still work for Southern California Edison (San Onofre Nuclear Genrating Station). I've been there about 23 years now as the Lock and Alarm Specialist in the Nuclear Oversight / Security Divis...Expand for more
ion and I am having a blast.
I stay pretty busy with work and family but, still miss the companionship of a soulmate and partner. I've dated a few times but, for one reason or another it just doesn't work out. No sour grapes here - I've got to say that I've lived a fantastic life of love and family. I am so thankful for the experiences and the joy that I've seen and lived and also look forward to many more joys but, if I don't connect again then it's going to be O.K. because I've had it all... It was great...
I love that cliche "better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all" the only thing I could add would be that because of this "looking for and finding love again, would be worth the trials and the agony associated with the journey that is life - amen".
Thanks for reading as I hope that we can all see each other again real soon...
God bless,
Danny
