Daniel's Story

Life Hi, everyone. My wife Gladys and I are expecting our first child at the end of June, 2008. We live in in the Los Angeles area now. Our favorite ways to relax from our busy lives include the occasional sushi dinner and movies. We love to travel, and so far we've been to Italy, the Philippines, England, France, Ireland and Mexico together, along with many US locations. Favorites have been Hawaii and Seattle. I'm hoping to exchange updates with old classmates. I'm very curious what everyone is up to. I notice not many Classmates.com users are posting photos--please add yours! It's nice to see everyone "all grown up" and sometimes it helps to put faces to the names that sound so familiar. I'll visit again and add more to my profile when I have more time, but for now I'll just let you know that I drink a lot of coffee... ...Expand for more

College San Luis Obispo was a fun college town, and the friends I made there and my experience at Cal Poly will always be in my thoughts. I'm happy to remain in contact with some close friends I made at Cal Poly. Some dormroom oddities I'm told I am remembered for include my worrisome drinking habits (taking two days to finish a beer) and my all-nighters, including my experiment of sleeping every-other night. My favorite memories include the hottub & sushi parties, chatting until sunrise, wine tasting, and the clubs and activism. Biochem was a great program with endless fascinating electives to choose from. However, laboratory work was not for me. I'm now a critical care RN, and loving it.
