Daniel's Story
I left Fountain Valley to study mechanical engineering, sociology, psychology, and English at UCSB. In the late 1980's I worked for Household Finance Corporation in subprime mortgage lending and collections and then studied business at Cornell. que de Louvain and then as a software engineer for Siemens-Nixdorf. I returned to the states to study computer science and math at Colorado State University and then UCSC. I am presently teaching computer science at Linfield College, married to a bilingual school teacher, Suzanne Scarboro, and have two teenage kids.
