Life
I worked for a year after high school. Was about to be drafted, so I became a dreaft-dodger. That is, I tricked those a**holes and enlisted for 4 years instead of letting them draft me for 2 years. By doing so I avoided the war in Southeast Asia. The Army sent me to language school for 47 weeks where I learned the Russian language fluently (read, write, and speak). After which I went to West Germany for 2 1/2 years and was an electronic spy on the east/west border of the two Germanies. Got discharged in Europe, got married to a German national and worked for a German heavy pipeline construction firm that was rebuilding an electric plant in Braunschweig, West Germany. ld be found fro at least twice that. I moved. Started driving truck transporting new cars from the factory to the dealerships. Was only going to haul cars until I decided what I REALLY wanted to do that might require a college education. After 30 years of hauling cars, I still hadn't decided what I wanted to be when I grew up, so I retired with a decent Teamster pension. That enabled me to have more time to figure out which course I wanted my life to take. Anybody have any ideas?
Oh! Yeah! After 23 1/2 years of marriage wife number 1 and I divorced. Been married to wife number 2 for 13 years. Work took me to Tennessee, where I now live. Little town 25 miles south of Nashville, Population 484. Town's getting too darn big!!!
Two natural children, two step-children none younger than 27. Nine grand-children.
