Military When I last looked at my current situation things could not get much worse, earlyer this morning around 2am we were ramping up for the termination of alfa camp 2 it was a holding area for a militant group of insurgent TANGO's in Afganastan along the west slope of the gurtchagos mountain range on the northeastern boarder. Mohare Tsugatinian, a rediculesly bad bad Turk and the principal behind this group was our main target. At 3:14 we got the red light to jump, the rear ramp opened and 9 of us exited the aircraft. We were at 27,000 feet, and performing what is called a HALO jump that is high altitude low opening. Hard enough to do during the day. At night with no moon, star light is not going to help much, we all were carrying around 90lbs of death dealing gear. All I could go by was my wrist altemeter.
