I graduated the Hartt College (now the Hartt School) of Music in 1974 but never pursued a music career. Instead took a course in business computer programming and started out working for an insurance company in Boston in 1977. mpany (Progress Software Corp.) from 1991 to the present. In the mean time, I married my beloved wife, M. Sheila McAvey, in 1997 and we have been living in Shrewsbury, MA in a house we purchased in 1998 along with our master cat, Daemon (pronounced, dee-mon) and his Rotti/Blood Hound companion, Rocky.
