Daniel's Story
Life
I married in 1993, right before I entered the U.S. Army and moved to Alaska for three years. I have owned two dogs sice then; a Rottweiler/Doberman mix who died at 7 months from Parvo and a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog/Boxer mix.
Military
I trained at Ft. Benning, GA from May to August in 1993. I then transfered to Ft. Wainwright,AK where I was stationed for 3 yrs. I trained in Louisiana, California and Thailand. I w...Expand for more
as sent to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to help with Operation Sea Signal for 5 months. I got out of active service in July 1996.
I returned to my military career in Oct 1999 when I joined the U.S. Army Reserves and was stationed in Waterford, MI at the Donald R. Moyer Army Reserve Center. There I trained as an office assiatant before training to become a drill sergant. I ended my military career with some reluctance in April 2004.
