Danielle's Story
Left school, got married at 20, had my boy in 81, (can't believe he's that old!) , was stay at home mom, babysat other kids for extra income, got divorced when Nick was 4, met my second husband shortly thereafter at sac. raceway, moved to Auburn in 1985, worked as a school bus driver for Mid Placer Public Schools in Auburn for 4 yrs, started lifting weights and went to work at the gym, (in the mean time we built a house in Foresthill and moved up there) considered buying the business and thought better of it, instead went into business with a friend of mine up here in Foresthill and opened a gift shop, did that for 3yrs, moved the business to old town Auburn, got divorced again, moved to Idaho for 3 yrs, lived in Garden Valley for 1 yr, then moved further north to Cour D' Lene area and lived there for 2 yrs. missed my kid and moved back to ca. been here ever since, I am working for the forest ser...Expand for more
vice as the fire lookout at Duncan Peak lookout in the sierras, have taken a class for public information officer trainee for fire.
went scool in Post Falls Idaho for massage therapy, got certified in massage and La Stone therapy, do a little of that on the side mostly for friends and trade with other therapists, try to get a massage once a week, It's good for you.
realized somewhere in all that that I had a talent for sculpting, so I make one of a kind dolls out clay then sew their clothes, one of my most recent is a wizard that looks alot like Gandolf from Lord of the Rings, he stands approx 20 inches tall, he's very cool, they're mostly wizards, gnomes and elves, I also make dream catchers, have a couple of buffalo skulls I painted, and also paint on canvass.
still work on the Tahoe and have expanded my options for my art work, looking forward to getting it on the market. life is good....
