Life
My Life: Update
Robyn & I have been together 13 years now! We had a private ceremony in Greece 10 years ago and made it legal June 21, 2008 (same date as our ceremony in Santorini). We share a variety of interests-- travel, politics, kayaking, photography,w roking out, social media and the Mac. Our families our near and dear to us. We are grateful for the simple life that we have grown together, modest yet diversely fulfilling.
On 1/19/06 I celebrated 10 years cancer-free, also my parents 43rd wedding anniversary. We're all very fortunate and blessed.
Update: I'm now a 2-time cancer survivor.
If there's one thing I've learned... you just never know how life will unfold each day.
Will be wrapping up another degree this Spring (again at Fairfield U). I can't wait until I'm done!
Update: numerous family tragedies, including the loss of my Dad in Aug '07, and the unexpected 2nd round with cancer, I didn't finish the degree yet.
My Pets
We have a beautiful Australian Shepherd who's name is Moca (short for Jamoca Almond Joy GreenThorne), named after our friend's favorite Baskin Robbin...Expand for more
s ice cream. She's now 9 yrs old. Where does the time go?!
We have two cats, Jasmine & Buddah (J&B). Buddah is a rescue from a local shelter and Jasmine is a chocolate tiger cat, rescued from the wild (she's now 15!). She's defended her "territory" against a 25 pd. raccoon and a fox and lived to tell about it, minus a tooth and a few stitches. I think we're on life #11.
My Job
For the past 1.5 years I've been managing my own consulting business specializing in small business and marketing. I also certified as a Motivational Speaker with Monster.com this past year. A lot of great things have been happening.
Update: After a stopover at the University of Bridgeport as their Director of Marketing (what was I thinking?!) I've since landed a fantastic Brand Manager position with Davidoff of Geneva (CT) in Stamford.
Hobbies/Sports
Still playing league soccer after all these years! No time to kayak these days. Still working out at the gym when I can squeeze it in, happy to still be fit and healthy.

"Life is good." Hope that everyone from the Class of '81 is doing well and loving life!
