Danielle's Story
Life
Well, where should I start? I am currently a student in The University of Alberta. So, most of my life involves studying and writing last minute essays.
I went to University after I went to Japan for 6 weeks. I decided I wanted to return to Japan one day with more of a knowledge of the culture and language.
I have a cat named Patches and she is like a child to me.
I am in a long term relationship with my boyfriend Shane (since June, 2001).
I am looking forward to graduating but am a little timid about the real world and what the fortune holds for me.
Likes: Japanese culture, Hello Kitty, Ancient Egyptian culture, neopets and friends.
College
I have been a student at the University of Alberta since the Fall of 2000.
I am taking East Asian Studies and Japanese language and literature. I love it but my Japanese is still lousy :(
I plan to go to Japan to improve my Japanese in 2006, after I graduate. I am hoping to go to Kyoto, as, it is my favorite place.
I am also a member of Pi Beta Phi Women's Fraternity. It is the best decision I have ever made in my enrire life and i will never regret it.
My University life has been so fufilling because of Pi Phi and I have made so many life long friends.
Workplace
Well, I don't have a "real" job yet, being a student and all but I will list every job I have ever had.

18-Current. Dominion Sports Service A.K.A Colisieum,Skyreach,Rexall and Trappers. I started out as a cashier and worked my way up to manager and then beer bar(the coveted job). This job has given me a bigger network of friends than highschool ever could. It's agreat "job" but I hope to have a career after spending so much time and effort in University.
19-20 Clairview IGA. I was a meat packer. you know those Steaks wraped in plastic that was me. Well I hated it I could not see myself doing for the rest of my life or while I was a student so I quit. I did learn one valuable lession though. You know those immature people you thought would grow up? They never grow up and they look so stupid it is comical. I almost feel sorry for them...Almost
Summer of 2003 Cineplex Odeon. I wanted a summer "job" and it was Okay but I will never forget how rude people are Customers. I had so many people tell me "Don't you wished you stayed in school?" Meanwhile not only was I in University but I had my grad ring on. Ah "real word lessions".
Summer of 2004 Superstore Liqour Store. Thought I would work around adults that summer. It was areally good job and I was planning to keep it but I couldn't let it interfere with my studies.

Military
Sorry guys I am not in the military. Besides the last thing the military needs is for my blood sugar to go low while on a mission!
