Danny's Story
Life
I joined the Air Force on 2 Jan 1976 and retired on 31 Jan 2006 in the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). It was a great career and I served around the world and saw so many wonderful things. I finished my career with duty in Iraq in 2003 and am thankful for the experience and the opportunity to have served. My wife is Amelia from the Philippines. We have two sons, David and Michael. We also have two grandsons.
I fully retired from the City of Colorado Springs in September 2016 after I turned 60. I never was happy working in civilian life anyway. I still missed the Air Force today.

We moved to North Las Vegas, NV in December 2019. The plan was to fully enjoy retirement until the pandemic came along. We both came down with Covid. Honestly, I did not think I was going to see the sun rise on 1 January 2021. New Year's Eve was my make or died night. As you can see I survived. During my air force career I was shot at, rocket and mortar on. Never imaging a virus would do me in.
I just came back onto this site. for all who had visited with no reply from me, I truly apologize. I hope is well and happy.
