More about Danny:"Not much to talk about. Went to school, joined the National Guard (served in active duty status for 12 years). Played in the 133rd Army Band in Washington State. Toured the Philippines, and performed in Canada. Currently retired from active status and so far enjoying more that I should be allowed to. I grew up all over the Mobile area. Lived in Chickasaw, Prichard, Irvington, and Theodore, AL. While living in Prichard I met John Anthony and Mike Nicholas who are two of the best friends I ever had and I still consider them as such. I ever had. After I stopped playing with them I went on to play in night clubs in downtown Mobile. The 500 Lounge was the first club I played, it was on the corner of Government Street and Water Street which was close to the docks. It was an intense learning experience for a 17 year old, but I made it through. I got paid $10.00 per night. Now you know why I'm a millionaire LOL. First musicians I ever played with were Mike Nicholas and John Anthony they were both really good guitarists and we were good friends as well as school mates. I played them for a while until I was replaced by Terry Kastoff and it was about that time I started playing in Country Bands around Mobile and would continue to do so off and on for about 20 years. I later became sort of a "hired gun" and was called on from time to time to sit in for other drummers that were not able play with their regular bands.
