Hello! How are you? Long time no see! So much time has past since those grand and glorious days at El Capitan.How many times have you said you'd go and do it all over again, if you could have the knowledge you do now? Wow! How things would be so much different. Well, just what have I been doing for the last 34 years. I'm quite certain that there will be few who would at all be interested in what I have been up to. So, for you who are,I suppose I could give you a brief summary.I'll try and make it brief so you don't get bored. Where was it that I read ,that most men lead quite lives of desperation? My life since high school has probably been much like yours, littered with challenges,trials , hardships , grief, sorrow, pain and a fair amount of joy as well. In Dec of 1973 I traveled to Central England to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. This was a very spiritual and maturing experience for...Expand for more
one so young as I. It had and continues to have a profoundly positive influence in my life. I returned home in Dec of 1975 and married in 1976. I spent the next 29 years racing the big brown truck ,delivering packages as a UPS driver. The last 18 years or so of my time at UPS was spent delivering in Lakeside and I regularly delivered to the finance office there at El Cap.I retired with a pension from there in April of 2005 and am currently a stay at home husband. I have been the father of six children, three boys and three girls, all of which have left home and are on there own. The youngest just turned 18 in July of 2006. We currently have five grandchildren and three on the way. My wife is presently a nurse at UCSD in La Jolla. This past year, 2006, I've kept busy remodeling our modest home in Santee and working in my recently built wood shop. Life is good! Would love to hear from you too!
