Danny's Story
Life
God is good, all the time. I'm a full-time pastor of a church in Sunray and a full-time jailer/dispatcher with Hansford County Sheriff's Office in Spearman. My wife, Doris, and I have 2 daughters, and they have blessed us with 3 granddaughters, and a brand new grandson on April 19, 2005. Life with Jesus as Lord is truly the abundant life!
Workplace
Life since high school has changed for me in drastic measures but all for the better. I've been involved in multiple careers including welding, insurance sales and service, farm and home sales, law enforcement, and preaching the gospel. I am currently actively doing the last two.
I often wonder where some of the other classmates are and what they're doing but I'm satisified with where I am in life and especially with what God's now allowing me to do in life, for His glory.
The greatest joy I've ever known is to serve Jesus Christ, my Lord. He's given me a love for my wife, and family above any I knew before and has made life "worth living" as I'd never before dreamed possible.

ut at the same time, have been blessed to be able to witness to some at the same time. That position has been quite interesting from time to time.
I served as a lay minister for many years in a local church in Spearman and then a couple of years ago, was invited to speak to other churches and/or groups. From there, I began to regularly speak at Spearman's Cowboy Church; where I met some old friends who asked me to come and pastor their church in Sunray. After filling their pulpit as a fill-in only for 9 months, we applied for and were voted in as their pastor(s) in April of 2004.
Being a licensed/ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving Him has been the best part of all of my life. He's good to us all the time. Of all the many things I've done in life thus far, and there's been plenty - nothing surpasses "preaching and ministering under the anointing of God". NOTHING.
I anxiously look forward to a glorious future in Jesus Christ and thank Him everyday for my family and His continual love and guidance.
