Danny's Story
Where have I been? After high school, I started college at ISU, got married on Christmas Eve, 1966, and was drafted into the Army during the summer of 1967.
The Army sent me to Ft Campbell, KY, Ft Lee, Va, Atlanta Army Depot, Vietnam (1 year), Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio, and Ft Hood, Tx. My first wife had moved to Houston with her parents while I was in Vietnam. After leaving the Army in 1970, we finished our college degrees at the University of Houston in 1974. We left Houston and moved to Memphis, Tn, my first real job as an accountant.
I studied for the CPA exam, got my certificate and moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas where I worked at a local CPA firm for 10 years. After 19 years of marriage and one son, we got divorced.

ied and moved to Vincennes, Indiana where I worked for another CPA located in Terre Haute. After a couple of years, we moved to Terre Haute. I stayed with the CPA firm for 4 years. In 1990, one of my audit clients asked me to come and work for them. I stayed with this general contractor for 8 years as their Chief Financial Officer.
In 1998, an opportunity became available at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, so I left the general contractor and have been here ever since.
I have have 2 children with my second wife. We divorced in 1998 after 13 years of marriage. In 2004, I got remarried and added 3 stepchildren to the fold.
