Daniel Aguirre:  

It has been a whirlwind of a life. After leaving Wasco in '74 when I joined the AF, it seemed to have been non-stop. Although I did enjoy the pace I did retire in 1994 (Pope AFB NC). I seen my share of the world but there is so much more I want to see. I continue to holiday to Europe every summer or early fall for several weeks as I still have friends that live there. After leaving the AF we moved to Spokane, WA and lived there until 2002 when we decided to move to Tucson. We enjoyed it there and we enjoy it here, albeit, it does get a little warm in the summer but you can't beat the winters. I am married and have a son that recently graduated from the U of A here in Tucson. My mom lives up in Phoenix along with my oldest brother (Ray), so it gives us opportunity to visit. The others live in Bakersfield (Paul and Jerry), Lancaster (Abby Jo). I chose to come out of retirement and return to work in (2007) after a 13 year hiatus.
