Glenda's Story

After high school, I worked at City Publishing until I got married in 1968. I moved with Larry (Elwood/Bersuch) to San Diego where he was in the Navy. We stayed in San Diego until 1975, while Larry finished his time in the Navy and graduated from San Diego State University. Then we moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he took a job with (then) General Dynamics. He stayed with them (now Lockheed) until July, 2008 when he retired. For the past year, he commuted from a job in Manassas, Virginia, but is now fully retired. ping grandkids). We have three sons, Mike, Danny and Jeff. Mike has two girls and lives in Aurora, Missouri, He is an associate Baptist minister. Danny has two sons and a daughter, and is a civil engineer, and lives here in Fort Worth. Jeff is a mechanical engineer and has one newborn daughter and also lives close by in Burleson, Texas. I keep busy, still monogramming, as well as scrapbooking all my grandkids pictures, and all the many other crafts I love to do. I also read a lot, and also enjoy books on tape and CD, which keeps me company in my car as I drive around town. Would love to hear from anyone from ECHS.
