Danny's Story

Life Well.... I graduated from Memphis State University in 1982 with a degree in electrical engineering. I had taken a few years off after high school to kick up me heels and do the wild oats thing. I was pretty successful at that and had a hard time buckling down to go back to school. Went away to illinois for a while and when I got back met a girl, married her, had a baby boy, graduated college, got a job with Texas Instruments in '82 and have been there ever since. Whew. d software there, ran software teams and right now am responsible for a business unit that does 1394/FireWire/iLink interface chips. It is about a 35 million dollar business unit. Pretty interesting. I've traveled all over the world with this group, just recently returning from Taiwan, Japan. Only place I guess I haven't been to is the middle east and Africa. I have two kiddos, a son 18 ( going to UT Austin), a daughter 17 ( has one year left of high school ) and should go to UT as well. I've been married for 21 years and still happy about that. Play golf, bball and poker for a hobby. Give me an email, I'm on the thing all of the time. Later
