Daphne's Story
Life
Well, I moved away from Rock Hill in 1989 and moved to Columbia were I had my son Dameon a year later and met my husband Anthony two years later. I have been married for almost 11 years now and we have been together for almost 16 years. I only have one child.
Let's see where should I start, I went to cosmetology school and earned a cosmetologist liscense. I worked as a cosemetologist for several years and decided that the money was not consistent enough and decided to go to college for Engineering. For those of you who REALLY knew me in high school know that I had always wanted to go to Clemson and become and Architect. I had taken AutoCAD and drafting at the then famous CDC. l Engineering and am 5 classes from earning a Civil Engineering degree (which I am currently planning to go back to school for). I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I worked for a local company here in Columbia designing bridges for a while, then I worked as a Residential Plans Reviwer for the county that I live in, I then worked for The City of Columbia's Engineering department and now I am currently working for the state of South Carolina (South Carolina Division of Aeronautics) designing airports for South Carolina and am also a college professor at ITT-Technical Institute part-time. I teach Drafting and Design. So, as you guys can see I have been really busy since you all have seen me last.
