Darilyn's Story
Life
April 2006....My life has and is undergoing many changes. When I first wrote my bio last year, I was married and struggling to save my 13 yr relationship with Kevin. We are now separated and in the process of filing for divorce. I tried to save it for 6 years and when he finally tried it was too little too late.
We had bought my childhood home and I had quit my nursing job and had been taking care of my mom who has Alzheimer's. Late October 2005 we placed her in an Alzheimer's facility in Birmingham, AL where my sis Denise and her family live. Her condition since then has exacerbated rapidly and she is now under Hospice care.
My daughter Autumn is soon to be 13 and she attends Hixson Middle in the 6th grade. She is a very smart girl and a much better student than I was at that age, honor roll and principals list. She plays the Clarinet in the band and is currently running track. The child loves horses not boys... thank god!! She has a sweet nature and is very pretty with dark hair and china blue eyes.
For those of you that don't know I did lose my son at 4 yrs old in a car wreck, at the time had ...Expand for more
just started my last year of nursing school. I often wonder what Colby would have been like, he would be 20 this year. Probably blonde, tall and lanky like his dad, but he had my killer eyes and smile. Even then he had a brilliant mind, extraordinary vocabulary, and had natural athletic ability.
I am looking for a nursing job now and I will continue in the job I love (Pure Romance) until I can build my client base to a full time level. I am realistic though and know it takes time and patience to build a strong business. I have my goals and I am looking towards the future with excitement.
I plan on attending the 30 yr reunion, I missed the last one. Oh by the way, the name I have gone by for the last 30 years is Dee. I don't come on here very much, but if you stop by to read this bio, drop me a line. take care

School
I had several crushes during high school, "Kooch" and Alan C come to mind. I would "not" choose to go back to high school again, life definitely started for me after graduation.
Happiest memories consist of being with my chorous friends singing, dancing, laughing and crying.
