Darin's Story
Life
After high school I attended Penn State but decided what they had to offer wasn't really what I was needing so I applied to Johnson & Wales University. While there I did an internship at Walt Disney World in Florida then went back to J&W U to complete graduation in Culinary Arts. I then went to Penn State again and studied Hotel/Restaurant Management until 88. When school let out I moved to Munich, Germany and apprenticed under master pastry and bakery chefs for a little over a year. I got married in 92, had kids in 96 & 97. me is Raven Skye. In 2002 my wife and I split up and in 2004 I finally got a divorce. In fall/winter of 2007 I travelled to Odessa, Ukraine to see about possibly meeting a nice lady - just tired of all the games here - and actually met someone that I might be interested in bringing over. Only time will tell... In the summer of 2007 my family and I sold Grubb's Diner and the Days Inn to Rite Aid Corp. Now I'm working at the Huntingdon Motor Inn, it's the only business we have left. The Diner is parked there but we're not doing anything with it at the moment, but that could change.
