Life
Ten years from high school and where am I ? I am married to an incrediable man (5yrs) and have a 3 month old son. I have traveled beyond my imagination and met people that I will never forget.
But 150 years from now what will any of this matter?? The only thing that will matter is where you spend eternity. Life is so short but eternity is well....an eternity. Most of us think we are good enough to go to heaven (you haven't murdered anyone right?). Well let's see how good we really are. Have you ever told a lie, or taken something that didn't belong to you, or looked at someone with lust? Okay, the murder thing...Jesus said anyone who has hated another has committed murder in their heart. If your like me your not looking so good. e judge (being one to uphold the law) must punish you for the crime you committed. What if someone came into the courtroom and said I will take your punishment to set you free. Would you take it? That's exactly what Jesus did for us. God can have nothing to do with sin...that's why Jesus died on the cross in our place to pay the penalty of all our sin.
Pretty overwhelming? Any sin you have committed has been paid for...will you accept the gift that God gave or will you reject it? If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. Its your choice. If you reject Jesus than you will go to hell but if you accept him as Lord of your life you will go to heaven.
