Darla's Story
Well, it has been a long jouney. I never actually graduated from Cooper but dropped out and got my GED. I went to Jefferson Jr. High and was in the marching band. I had a younger sister named Jana. We both lived at the Hendricks Home for Children. I now have 2 children ages 19 and 24 of whom the oldest lives here near me and I have one grandson named Will. My pride and joy. down by a truck while walking home one day in 1994 and broke my back and legs, but within 5 years I taught myself with help from friends I learned how to walk again and am now doing fine. I can no longer work but I do woodwork at home now that they concider me to be disabled. The good Lord has been with me through it all and has blessed me a great deal. I guess thats enough for now.
