Some kids at school took advantage of the educational system Traip had to offer. I on the other hand, took advantage of the the social life Traip had to offer. Going to the football games, even before I was in High School, and the basketball games. Going to away games and coming home on the bus with the Pep Club screaming my head off with cheers. I guess I was a cheerleader wanna be, but didn't have the initiative to try out but one time. I didn't want to devote my time. I was taking 6 dance classes a week, so it didn't give me a lot of spare time. All good memories. I always had a tough time on the scholastic side, even in elementary school. Because of that, I repeated 4th grade. Man I hated reading! Mrs Chapman was my teacher both times. She was my favorite teacher too. She is one person I would love to see again. I've lived in Florida since 1986, but have lived in Vermont, NH, & NY. If you love hot, FL is your place. I don't miss the snow at all. I'd love to see it again at Christmas, but that's it. I have the best of both worlds. I'm about 1 1/2 hours away from Disney, 3 hours from Daytona Beach and 30 mins. away from Tampa. I don't have to worry about retiring and moving to Florida...
