Darlene's Story
Still hanging around. Just an old cowgirl. Went to WWHS Fall 1969 50th reunion in early October. I haven't been to SF for 10 years. Couldn't believe how much the skyline has changed in that amount of time.
I live in Chiloquin, OR. 30 miles from Crater Lake National Park. Way up in the mountains with snow capped mountain peaks and tall ponderosa pine trees.. If you get a chance, Google Crater Lake National Park. The deep blue color of the lake really is that color...almost purple. God's country. I have been here in Oregon for 49 years. Lived on the wet side of the Cascades mountains for 28 years. Now I live on the east side of the Cascades for almost 22 years. Approximate 11 " of precipitation a year, most of it in snow. Much drier. I don't have to work out in it, so it doesn't bother me.

I fish and hunt. And target shoot. Got my buck each time I was pregnant with each daughter....7 months and 9 months pregnant. Also almost every yeaf. Girls were raised on venison and salmon. Now I am just kicking back, watching the snow fall, enjoying grandbabies..2..and keeping warm.
This is Dusty, my pet pig. He's sitting pretty for a peanut butter cookie (dog biscuit).. He's 7 years old. I have had him for 6 years. He knows visual and voice commands.. He has the intelligence of an 8 year old, but basically what I have is a teenage boy. Smarter than most dogs I know of. He only weighs about 130 lbs. He's closer to the camera than I am.. Am having the good life here. How about you all?
