Darlene's Story
I married in 1976 and moved to Torrejon, Spain. An airforce base outside of Madrid, Spain. I lived their for 4+ years then moved to Kansas City, Missouri. for three years. I had my first child, a son, there in 1981. My husband left the military service, joined civilian service and we moved to Youngstown, OH. I had my second son there in 1982. We moved to Columbus, OH in 1985 and I had my daughter. We lived in Columbus, OH until there was a base closure alert in 1993. We took a move to Virginia Bea...Expand for more
ch, VA where we have made our home. We will be married 35 years this October 2011. I pittled in different careers throughout the years including Supervisor of Finance and Payroll but got tired of numbers. My husband is retired from civilian service and I have found my nitch as a Supervisor of Nutrition for the past 8 years in a Continuing Care Facility on the Chesapeake Bay. I also have a 6 year old grandson that keeps us on our toes. Dream location, great job! And that it what I have been up too........
