Darlene's Story
I grew up in Castro Valley. Had a baby in January 1966, got married to Jim Wagoner in April 1966. Did not graduate with my 1966 class due to pregnancy. Got my GED and became a Flight Dispatcher for United Airlines. After all that studying and getting my license, UAL decided to move the SFO Dispatch to Chicago. I did not want to move, so I quit.

two sons, 2 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Jim died in 1999 due to diabetes and heart. I met George Nichols in 2002 and we got married in September 2004, which added one stepson, one stepdaughter, and 2 more grandchildren.
I retired from the FAA in 2008 and now live in Pollock Pines. For those of you that don't know where that is, it is off of Highway 50 between Placerville, and South Lake Tahoe.
