Darlene Liuska:  

My name is Darlene, I graduated in 1962. Married Hugh Black and we had 2 children. A boy Robert and a girl Sandra. We devoriced in 68 and I remarried my present husband Bruce Liuska from the Upper Peninsula of MI the same year. I proceed to have 2 more children, a boy Kyle and a girl Aili. We lived in Ferndale, Mi,for several years and got involved in politics. We worked very hard for some winners and some who lost. In 1972 my husband was injured in a construction accident and unable to work for several years. We decided to move to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he was from. We settled in a small town called Crystal Falls. I worked a various jobs, what ever paid the most while he was healing. I enjoyed working at the Chippewa Bar and resort the most. Made good money and had lots of fun while doing it. Met some wonderful people and still write to my boss who is now 93. Went to school to be a nurse's assistant. Surprised myself by getting all A's and B's. In 1984 our family moved to Glendale, AZ. Bruce was able to return to work and I got involved in real estate. Worked as a lic rec. at Westbrook Village, and Happy trails along with being an assistant to the Sales Mgr. I later went to be office Mgr for a RV park, Personal Banker at Western Savings and Loan and then on to a foreman of a const. clean up crew. I also was an office mgr for a PT office and a Chiropractor. After the children were out of school we took some jobs that took us around the western part of the country.
