Darlene's Story
Life
Working as a firefighter and paramedic in Virginia, near the Norfolk/Va. Beach area. Loving it immensely. I'm big time into fitness. Lift weights and looking into possibly competeing. Run on average 35 - 40 miles a week. I was never one to be into sports, nor was I very athletic in High School.
Spent 16 years in the Navy as a Machinist. Got out in 1999 and at age 40 managed to land a job with a Fire Department. I had volunteered for 8 years before finally decidi...Expand for more
ng the time was right to make a career change. The Navy took me to numerous countries and I'm thankful for the opportunity to see all that I have.
I was married for 9 years, divorced 11 years ago. My teenage daughter keeps me young and keeps the gray hair coming...LOL.
