Darlene's Story

Life My husband and I have been married for 28 years and have 2 sons. Our oldest son lives in Boston and works in Graphic Design. Our youngest son now lives in Baltimore and works for George, Myles and Behr - an engineering firm. We have resided in Sterling since 1985 and enjoy the "small town, rural" life. Recreation Commission - a program that has grown in scope since that first year. My husband served as the chair for 8 years. I worked in the local school system for ten and then was elected to the Board of Education. With our sons grown and on their own, we are enjoying ourselves by travelling, eating out and puttering around the house. I'm gonna love retirement!!
