Darlene's Story

I'm living down here in the Big Bend of Florida at Keaton Beach, a small fishing village where they have the best hunting, fishing and scalloping and great sunsets. I'm 2 1/2 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. I have been a legal assistant/paralegal for over 40 yrs. This place was supposed to be my retirement home with my husband but he passed away 6 years ago this June from Lymphoma. member me? I was the sad girl! A lot has happened since the above post. I have recently remarried about a year and a half ago to my husband Rob Floyd. We are both retired and living the life down here at Keaton Beach. My granddaughter has been back living with her mom, step dad, brother and sister for 4 years now but see each other a few times a year and alternate spending Christmas with each other. One Christmas here in Florida and next Christmas in Texas. My daughter and family relocated to Texas 3 years ago. They live about 30 miles north of Dallas.
