Darlene's Story
We moved to Illinois to open a Domino's Pizza in 1981 on the Northern Illinois Universtiy Campus. We bought a house in neighboring Sycamore, and have been in the same house for 20 plus years. Mike has been with Domino's for over 30 years.
I have been an office manager at Immanuel Lutheran Church for 12 years and am active with our local community theater group. I stayed home for many years to raise our family and help with the business -- running tours and children's birthday parties and being "on call" on busy nights! During those years I was a very active volunteer with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the church, swim team and whatever else my kids were doing!

Amber and Joel. Shawn is married to Garnet and they have two boys, Julian and Jackson. The live about 90 minutes from us and we get to see them often. He works for Cintas and she is a high school Spanish teacher at Lockport Freshman Center.
Amber and her husband live in Dubuque and had a little boy, Mason Brian, born November 23, '08. She is a pharmacist and he is an x-ray technician and in the army reserves.
Joel lives in Naperville and has been dating Allison for several years. He is an ultrasound tech in Geneva and she just graduated with a major in Art/k-12 teaching and is job hunting.
We have a 10 year old boxer named Bulldozer and a pain in the butt cat named Schmendez.
That about sums it up!
