Darrell's Story

Marilynn Johnson and I got together at our 50th reunion. We moved back to Modesto and got married Sept 20, 2013. We lived in Sherwood Forest because we remembered it as the "place to live" when we were in high school. We lived in a beautiful house for over 3 ye...Expand for more
ars but the neighbors weren't that friendly so we moved to a Del Webb retirement community in Manteca in November, 2016. We still live close enough to Modesto for me to go to my FAROS meetings and Marilynn to have lunch monthly with her high school girl friends.

Before the parade, The Modesto View Magazine & the Conf & Visitors Center got the FAROS together with the actors from the movie. We made Bo Hopkins an honorary FARO.
