Darrell's Story

After many years of being a red head my drivers license now says that I am white. I have lived in Campbell River (twice), Caycuse, Duncan, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Regina, Edmonton and now find myself living between Kamloops and Brentwood Bay. Moved mainly for work reasons. A variety of sales jobs I guess would be the weirdest jobs that I have had. If I could do it over again I would get a degree in history and either write or teach. My biggest surprise has to be my ex telling me she wanted a divorce. This news turned out for the best. To be truly happy I would like to living on our property at Regal Ridge (Osoyoos). I hope that old friends remember me as a friend for life. The teacher I would like to see again would be either Jack Lowther or Mr. Daimer. Since graduation I have worked mainly in the Forest Industry. I had a total of 3 years with the Forest Service, 12 years with BCFP and selfemployed as a consulta...Expand for more
nt for a total of 13 years. I have also worked as an engineer/manager for a logging contractor and road construction contractor. In addition I have worked as the Customer Relations Manager for a resource supply company in to Edmonton and worked as an iIdustry Business Advisor for an Association. I worked in business development for a scaffolding company in Edmonton before deciding to relocate to B.C. I moved to Victoria in Sept. '13 and was living there until July '14 when I moved to Kamloops and worked for a few months for a Forest Resource Consulting firm. I have also worked for in the sales field for about 6.5 years selling everything from wire rope & rigging, to office equipment, theatre playbill advertisig & gas & electricity. We have purchased an acreage in a development east of Osoyoos where we plan to build on an retire there sometime over the next few years. We are looking forward to a 50 year class reunion.
