Darrell's Story
I hope people remember me as a nice guy (though a bit naive), I think I'm still a nice guy. I think I am pretty much the same guy (if just a bit rounder). My life experiences have changed me a bit though. I have had occaiaion to visit eight different countries during my Navy carreer in submarines and I still do some travel for business, occaisionally to California.
If you looked at my timeline you know I have two sons who are both grown and don't live at home so my wife and I are DINKS (dual income no kids) which suits us just fine. We like to camp ...Expand for more
in our motorhome and travel, This spring (2011) we are looking forward to a one-week trip to Myrtle Beach, but the summer seems to be consumed by work so just weekend trips otherwise. We will be blessed with a daughter-in-law, a marriage to our oldest son, in May ( with her two wonderful children - no sarchasm here). We are looking forward to our yongest son's deployment (in the Marines). He is a crew chief on V-22's. I know he is excited about it.
I have taken to country music (but still like classic rock) and have started going to country concerts
