Darren's Story
After graduation the judge said Army or juvi. I chose Army. I was trained to be a telephone central office repairman and spent 6 years in Europe where I met my wife Connie.
After my Army stint was up, I came back to Oregon and began work as a data cable installer for commercial construction projects. I did this from 1989 to 1995.
In 1995 I became and estimator and continued my education in the field I had chosen for my career.

In 2000 I earned my RCDD certification.
In 2001 I was offered a job as a technolgy architect at Northwest Information Services in Beaverton.
Today I am living in Forest Grove. I am still at NIS and work from Home 3-4 days a week. We have adopted 4 former foster children of ours, aged 4 to 9.
I have 2 step children as well aged 31 and 33 and 9 grandkids aged 1 to 13.
