Darren's Story

HI!!! Its been a while and I was really busy in high school and dont remember many names or proper grammer, spelling, ect as you will probably see in my writing, but its all in storage up there somewhere in my brain so jog my memory with how you knew me and let me know what you have been up to. I worked part time in a steel fab shop in high school and was employed there for a while after I graduated and then worked in another fab shop for about 7 years doing engineering work and programming cnc machines and then tried selling fitness equipment and cars for about a minute, did body and custom paint work about 5 years, 3 years of avionics aircraft wiring and went back to welding and fab work in the natural gas/ oil fields of Colorado and Utah. I have some rental property and I trade stocks and options a bit. Got married to the perfect woman 11 years ago and its been wonderful ever since. She is awesome, met her at church and we love to laugh and have lots of fun together. I race r/c cars with my son somtimes at our local indoor dirt track, I still fly r/c airplanes and am into 3d aerobatics with a reputation for flying knife edge a foot off the ground on a regular basis. I like to camp and go atv or dirt bike riding with my friends, there are some pics here with my friend Will near Ouray Colorado and an old ghost mining town we stopped at on an atv adventure, its beautiful country. We like to travel to waterparks, amusement parks and whatever fun stuff out there we can find to do with the kids. Loving life bigtime....Expand for more
I have a motorhome but I still camp in a tent with my kids sometimes just for fun. We like to go to the sand dunes sometimes and camp and ride dirt bikes and atvs and dune buggys and sand boards, what a blast. I recently sold all the atvs and bikes so nobody would get hurt accidently and we could free up some money for a buggy with a roll cage and 5 point harnesses. I am in the process of designing and building a baja race style long travel sand buggy with about 22 inches of wheel suspension travel at all 4 corners and 800+ horse power twin turbo v8 vette engine. 5 seater should be a good time. If you ever have a chance to ride in a car like this DO IT!!!!!!!!, however It will ruin your life because nothing else will ever be cool again. I have my own welding business and am doing very well right now. My wife and I workout when we can with working 12+ hours a day and taking care of 3 kids. The kids are involved with sports and my oldest son who is 10 broke the school record in the 200 meter foot race and won every event. I can still beat him but its really really hard for an old man to push that hard. By the time you read this he will probably be able to beat me and if not I am sure it wont be long. My daughter is in gymnastics and really likes it. My middle son Kian is a cutie and very well liked at school He is not as competitive as his older brother Austin but is taking a karate class for kids and enjoying it. I would love to hear from anyone. Got nuthin but mad love for ya!!! drop me a note! Darren (Jeremiah 29 9-11)
