Darryl's Story
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Graduated 1967. and married 1971. My daughter was born in 1972, my son in 1975.I divorced 1984 and remarried in 1988.
I've lived in Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna, Hope and Nakusp.
In 1990 I received my BEd and my MEd 2006 - University of Victoria.
I've taught in Kelowna, Hope and Nakusp and was active with the BCTF and my local teachers associations.
Following retirement from public school teaching 2009, I continued my speaking engagements in my own business - Pandora Professional Consulting. I've been a speaker at 9/10 Alberta Teachers...Expand for more
Conventions and at several in BC as well. I continue to speak for educational and community organizations
I enjoy reading, knitting, quilting, and music - especially Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. I have seen Mark perform in London (twice), Kelowna and Vancouver (twice). I love to travel and have met several good friends in my travels.
I currently live on the Arrow Lake just south of the Village of Nakusp with my husband and my Golden Retriever, Jeanie.
My son and daughter live in the Lower Mainland. I have 4 grandsons, 2 step-grandsons, and 2 step-granddaughters.
