Darryl's Story
Darryl is married. His schools include Andrew Hill High School. He later attended San Jose State university, San Jose, CA (Business and Industrial Management, Graduated in June, 1970). In November of 1960 I joined the Air Force Security Service and spent three years in Bremerhaven, Germany which is located on the coast about 100 miles due west of Hamburg. I returned to the states in August, 1964 and immediately hired on at IBM in San Jose. I married Betsy Langeberg in May, 1972 and had two sons, Aaron and Kevin. Aaron works for Google in Sunnyvale and Kevin works for Charter Cable in Reno. Aaron and his wife Theresa have two daughters and a son. emarried in July of 1990 to Irene Adam. We met on a cruise ship in Vancouver, Canada and have a son, Alex, who graduated from DeVry University here in San Diego last year.I worked for a number of years at United Technologies in south San Jose as a master scheduler on the booster separation motors for NASA's space shuttle. I also scheduled the 2nd stage rocket motor for the USAF's Minuteman ICBM missile system. Irene and I moved to San Diego in June of 1998 and created
Forbes Enterprises, a small business accounting company. Irene handles most of our accounts now as I'm basically retired. I am investing in residential tax liens as a sidelight which are doing very well these days with a yearly return of between 12 to 18 percent. That's about all I have to relate for now.
