Darryl's Story
Life
joined the u.s. navy after graduation. i have been divorced for 26 years. i have 2 children. jason, who is now 31 years old' and jeremy, who is now 21 years old. no pets. Cher said it best in her song,"IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME". i am a licensed process server for the supreme court of texas. i also have a license as a private investigator for the state of texas, and Tennessee. my main line of work is fugitive recovery. best job i've ever had. lots of satisfaction putting the 'bad guys' in jail. good pay. long hours. no loyalty. people tell me i have an easy job. really? ....if it were "easy", they would be doing this themselves!
School
high school was one of the best times of my life. i still remember many of the people i attended school with, although a lot of them do not remember me. how sad. i guess the memories are all mine. life is too short. enjoy it with everyone you can.
Workplace
i had many jobs over the years after i was discharged from the navy. worked at jobs like---a toy store, laundry truck driver, route driver for a beer company, food warehouse, engineer trainee for Missouri Pacific railroad, Best Products, heavy equipment operator in civil service, landscape company, woodworking, delivery driver for a dental lab, excavator for a pool company, dump truck driver(my own), maintenance man for a hotel in Kentucky, part-time softball umpire(15 years), and other jobs that are...Expand for more
not worth mentioning. the job i have now is one that i would love to have been doing in the very beginning as a young man. i am a licensed private investigator here in Texas. i am specialized in fugitive recovery out of all states, and will travel anywhere in the world to arrest and bring back a fugitive to justice by returning him to jail. i have made over 2000 arrests in my career. it is a dangerous job. maybe that is what gives me the 'drive'. if i had it to do over again---this would be it. most of my work comes from bondsmen and lawyers. i have done insurance fraud, and the 'cheatin' husband/wife' thing. but, hunting humans by respectable means is the ultimate high for me. i work with a partner, who happens to be a long time childhood friend. we know each other very well. so well in fact, that i trust him with my life. this job is a learning experience....every day. drop me an email sometime. i'll be glad to reply.
Military
i enlisted in the navy the following year after graduating from lee. i went to boot camp in San Diego, ca. from there, i went to a class "A" school for communications technician in Pensacola, Fl. i then went to Okinawa, where i was stationed until march of 1970, where i was given an 'early out', and returned to the states, and was honorably discharged at the naval air station in Dallas, Tx. i enjoyed my time in the service. it was an experience i will never forget.
